ABOUT US:
Elizabeth Clarke
Beth Clarke has been involved with horses all of her life and has been a serious
student of dressage for many years.
A graduate of
Smith
College with a degree in
economics, she worked as a commercial banker for several years before attending
the University of Virginia Law School.
After practicing corporate law for a few years and
serving a brief tenure as Director of Dressage for the United States Equestrian
Team, Ms. Clarke established a business management consulting practice with a
clientele largely composed of horse related businesses.
Having taught equine specific business and law
courses at the undergraduate level, she now operates the Equine Business
Institute, a business management resource for professional equestrians.
Her law practice is focused primarily around the
needs of equine related businesses and related contract, business management,
estate planning and land conservation issues.
In addition to her business consulting and mediation
practice she is a regular contributor to equine related publications and gives
business planning and risk management seminars for equine professionals around
the country.
She is currently the chair of the Bylaws Committee for the
United States Dressage Federation, and serves on its Steering Committee for
Instructor Certification.
Her current client list includes some of the most
well respected riders and sport horse training and breeding farms in the
United States.

Holyoke College,
South Hadley,
